Chris Rock Not the “Baby Daddy”
August 7th, 2007
Chris Rock’s lawyer announced Monday that the results of a paternity test proved Chris Rock is not the father of a 13-year-old boy.
Earlier this year, Kali Bowyer, of Savannah, G.A., tried to file a paternity suit against the comedian seeking child support and medical coverage for the child but was require to withdraw her petition because Rock lived outside Georgia’s jurisdiction. Rock, however, ask the Georgia court to proceed with paternity testing to resolve the issue. A judge order DNA testing on both Rock and the child at the beginning of June. The results of that test came back negative for a DNA link between the two.
Rock and his wife, Malaak, stated that they were happy to finally be able to put the accusation to rest and also expressed concern for the well-being of the child.
Rock and Malaak have been married 10 years and have two daughters. Lola and Zahra.
Rock currently works on “Everyone Hates Chris” as creator and narrator of the series and is due to star in “the Bee Movie”, “The Gilmores of Beverly Hills” and “Madagascar 2.”
