Monday, May 7th, 2007

Paris Hilton Going to JailParis Hilton has been ordered to report to a county jail by June 5 to start serving her 45 day jail term for violating the terms of her probation. In September 2006 Hilton was pulled over and subsequently charged and found guilty of reckless driving. On January 7, 2007 she pleaded no contest to the charges and was given 36 months probation, alcohol education and $1500 in fines.January 15 found Hilton pulled over again. She was informed that she was driving on a suspended license and signed a document acknowledging that she was not to drive. On February 27 Hilton was again pulled over and charged with violating her probation. Hilton was also required to enroll in alcohol education by February 12 but as of April 17 had no done so.

Speaking outside her home on Saturday, Paris stated: “I feel that I was treated unfairly and that the sentence is both cruel and unwarranted and I don’t deserve this.” While denying having any knowledge that she wasn’t allowed to drive, Hilton’s apparent disregard for the rules of society and the judge’s ruling have landed
Paris in unknown waters. She’s going to have to take responsibility for her actions. Maybe, for the first time.
