Black Eyed Peas Singer Arrested

The Black Eyed Peas singer, Taboo, was arrested on suspicion of driving while impaired after a collision.The 31-year-old was taken into custody Tuesday morning and was released that evening with citations for possession of less than an ounce of marijuana, possession of a prescribed medication without a prescription and driving while impaired.No court date was disclosed.
Taboo is part of the Grammy winning singing group Black Eyed Peas with Fergie, will.i.am and apl.de.ap. The group has sold over 20 million albums worldwide. Best known for their #1 hits like “Let’s Get it Started”, “Don’t Phunk with my Heart” and “My Humps” all of which garnered them Grammy awards.



Aston Kutcher, actor and husband of Demi Moore, won’t be pulling pranks on celebrities any more. The show, Punk’d, is ending after 8 seasons on MTV. The show has “Punk’d” celebrities like Justin Timberlake, Jessica Simpson and Frankie Muniz. This last season will see Hillary Swank, Earvin “Magic” Johnson, Nelly Furtado and Jewl fall victim to Kutcher’s pranks.Celebrities that have been Punk’d but denied broadcasting rights include Alex Rodriguez, New York Yankee’s 3rd baseman, Alias star Michael Vartan, JoJo and Pamela Anderson. Anderson completely denies being Punk’d. Kutcher is best known for his role on the television series “That 70s Show” as Michael Kelso.

Police were called after reports that Scott Weiland and his wife, Mary, had damaged a hotel room in Burbank. Mary was arrested at home on charges of arson. Apparently, Mrs Weiland set fire to $10,000 worth of her husband’s clothing. She was booked at a southern California police station and released on a $50,000 bond.Scott Weiland was lead singer for the grunge band Stone Temple Pilot in the 1990s and is currently a member of Velvet Revolver a group that includes three former members of Gun N’ Roses. Mary Forsberg, a model, married Weiland in 2000 and the couple has 2 children, Noah and Lucy.
Eddie Griffin, a 38-year-old actor comedian totaled a $1.5 million rare Enzo Ferrari. He was practicing for an upcoming charity race event to promote his film “Redline” when he crashed the car into a concrete barrier. While the car is completely destroyed, with heavy damage to the front end, walked away without a scratch. The Enzo, owned by “Redline” executive producer Daniel Sadek said “I’m glad Eddie came out of the crash OK, but my dream car got destroyed.” Sadek’s exotic car collection is being featured in the movie. Only 400 Ferrari Enzos were produced and all were made between 2002 and 2004. Named after The Company’s founder Enzo Ferrari, the car was designed based on Formula 1 technology. Originally only 349 units would be made but Ferrari was convinced to make another 50. In 2005 Ferrari decided to make 1 more Enzo. The car was auctioned by Sotheby’s to benefit survivors of the 2004 Tsunami. The auction raised $1.27 million, twice the list price and proceeds were given to Pope Benedict.
Broward County Medical Examiner Joshua Perper released his completed autopsy report today on Anna Nicole Smith. Smith died of “combined drug intoxication” with chloral hydrate, a sleeping medication as the major factor. A bacterial infection caused from injecting medication into her buttocks and the flu were also contributing factors.Perper also stated that Smith was also taking several antidepressants and antianxiety drugs, had recently taken longevity medications, vitamin B12 and growth hormone. She has also been taking methadone and Valium. While the report lists her cause of death as “accidental” it was also noted that Smith’s idol, Marilyn Monroe, died from a combination of chloral hydrate and barbiturates.
Kate Winselt and Leonardo DiCaprio are slated to reunite for a drama about post-war disillusionment. The star couple, made famous for their parts in the box office blockbuster “Titanic”, have agreed to costar in a film called “Revolutionary Road. The film is to be directed by Winslet’s husband, Sam Medes, who won an Oscar for “American Beauty.”
