Curfew In Kashmir Will Remain For A While More

The circumstances have not changed in the valley of terror even a bit. That is the reason why the state authorities have decided that there will be no respite in the already existing curfews in the region.

Infact, the curfew restrictions have been made more stricter due to the decesion by the women of the region to march to ‘Pather Masjid’ in the old Kashmir. The curfew were put on in seven police station areas of Srinagar on June 28 due the violence in the region.

This happened, while the first batch of pilgrims were on their way to Amarnath in south Kashmir Himalayas through the traditional Pahalgam and the shorter Baltal routes.

The life in Shrinagar and the nearby areas has still not come to normal as the main government offices, educational institutions and banks have been closed since then.
