Some of you may already know that the Dallas Cowboys finally demolished Texas Stadium, what you may not know is that 11-year-old Casey Rogers pushed the button (controlled implosion). Another thing you may look for is the implosion video, which of course, we managed to get our hands on, for our readers.
Texas Stadium Implosion
A huge explosion and a wild booming sound (that you can hear in the video below) that’s all there is from the Texas Stadium after being torn into dust. The “show” was viewed by thousands of fans who gathered just a few hundred feet from the site which sits on a 78-acres spot in Irving, Texas.
The Texas Stadium implosion was sponsored by Kraft and was meant as a promotional means for their new Cheddar Explosion line of mac & cheese. So how exactly did little Casey Rogers got the chance to put the whole building down? He won an essay contest that wanted you to write about how you’d make a difference in your own community.
Kudos to Casey, I bet that was a nice blast for the little one.
