Captain Phil Harris better known as the Captain of the Cornelia Marie in the the “Deadliest Catch” Show died from a stroke on Tuesday.
Phil Harris was 53 years old and was known to have been hospitalized for about two weeks. The captain showed signs of improvement and was sent back home from the hospital. He unfortunately died of the stroke.
Phil’s sons are deeply saddened by the loss of their dad and all his friends and family are grieving the loss of the great Captain.
Captain Phil Harris’ two sons Jake and Josh said that their father was a source of their inspiration and that it was very difficult to say goodbye to him thanked all for their condolences and prayers.
Phil Harris’ business will now be taken over by his two sons.
